Professor Rob Mejia
Rob teaches cannabis at Stockton University in New Jersey, is the author of The Essential Cannabis Book, now in its second edition, and is the president of Our Community Harvest. Award-winning and widely recognized, he is regarded as one of the most credible voices in cannabis education in the country.
For years, his work has centered on the same thing Harvest Gate is built on: making cannabis clear, legitimate, and accessible to the people stepping into it. Rob leads Harvest Gate — and he sets the standard we hold every engagement to.

Co-founder & operations
Hursh Patel
Hursh is a New Jersey cannabis operator and Harvest Gate’s co-founder, leading operations. He and his team competed for — and won — cannabis licenses in New Jersey, then went further: taking projects from paper to permit to build-ready facilities.
Harvest Gate is the direct product of that experience. We took the exact work that earned real licenses and built real operations, and turned it into a clear, guided process our clients can follow. When we tell you what a strong application looks like, it’s because we’ve assembled one that had to hold up in a competitive review — not in theory.
